AMAG

AMAG requested a prototype for showcasing how a new car-selling portal could be implemented by using the power of AEM (Adobe Experience Manager). In a short time period, we implemented a working solution as a prototype, and its presentation convinced the management to implement the selling and buying platform AQUACAR.

“We recently had the pleasure of working with N47 on a software development project, and we couldn't be happier with the results. N47 was extremely professional and knowledgeable throughout the entire process, and they were able to turn our vision into a reality. Their team was always available to answer any questions we had and they went above and beyond to ensure that our project was completed on time and within budget. The final product, an MVP, exceeded our expectations.

One of the key factors that contributed to the success of the project was the excellent communication and cooperation between our teams. N47 was always responsive and proactive in addressing any issues that arose, and they were able to work seamlessly with our in-house team. We highly recommend them for any software development projects and look forward to working with them again in the future.”

Problems to be solved

AMAG wanted to establish a new online marketplace for buying and selling cars. In order to verify their concepts and business case, the company requested a prototype, serving as a running showcase to gain internal acceptance for the project.

The initial project focused on the fast delivery of a working prototype, demonstrating the main user journey of adding a car to the platform. The client additionally demanded using all layers (including Hybris) in the application prototype.

About the customer

The VW Beetle, first imported in 1948, made owning a car affordable for an increasing number of people. Dreams became reality. AMAG’s founder, Walter Haefner, foresaw all this and the rapidly growing mobility needs that came with the economic growth of the 1960s and 1970s. Thanks to his visionary power, he succeeded in shaping AMAG into the largest automotive company in Switzerland.

Today, the AMAG Group, and its approximately 6,500 employees, is a comprehensive mobility provider with an excellent nationwide position. They sell high-quality automobiles, ensure their operation in all situations and enable people to fulfill their mobility dreams with their own leasing company and other services (including car sharing, rental vehicles and parking offers). Their focus is the customer, always and everywhere. Motorists and corporate customers place their trust in AMAG because, in addition to quality and expertise, they continually surprise them in a positive way with excellent service.
