OUR CULTURAL PROGRAM: MIKU 2019
What is corporate culture exactly? What is the impact of culture? Is it consciously designable? We dared.
Employees are not resources, they are the company. A dusty culture, bored or even frustrated employees are luckily not an issue for us. To keep it that way, we want to deliberately address this issue and invest in our employees and corporate culture. On our journey, we would like to receive answers and solutions to questions such as:
• How can we maintain a well-functioning team structure despite the growth?
• How can we be visible and attractive to new employees?
• How can we stay agile and pragmatic, even if we are growing fast, spread across three countries and therefore need more organization and processes?
• How can we promote and develop the commitment and loyalty of our employees to our colleagues and the company?
• What are the perspectives and goals of our employees and how can we support them?
• We are a “techie booth” that lives from the proactive input of our employees. How can we maintain today’s enthusiasm?
• How can we benefit from the experiences of the startup community and let the community benefit from our experience?
• And of course much more …
We can not offer you a ready solution concept. Much more we will deal with these questions and take you on the journey. Questions, goals and insights are shared and discussed with you on our blog and our social media channels – we would be happy if you were there.
We believe that it is important to be more present on events – as well as speakers, on workshops or meetups – to be more visible to the community, and also in the web and social media.
Maybe you know that … over time, some tools in a company that are used for a variety of things accumulate and it is getting quite chaotic or even not easy to handle. We just started to reset our toolset to establish a cool, running and easy to use tooling suite, where everybody can attend with every kind of OS and technology. And we want to share our best practices with you.
So that you can see who we are, how we work, what we have on it, what we do otherwise and for sure – share our expert knowledge we will share a lot of stuff on our blog (and our social media channels). We set our goal to 6 posts per employee – and we think that there will be some exciting posts for a broad audience.
Since we are made up of three companies from different countries, we want to hold three joint events this year, one in each country. To be more precisely, what we currently have in mind are Hackdayz (4-5 teams with cool content in a separated place), a summer event (come together for a summer event, work at one place for few days) and a winter event (more or less the same as in summer, but most likely with snow ).
You can be sure we will share at least some snapshots from that.
To support the development of each employee, we want to establish regular employee discussions to be on track, solve impediments, defining goals and see how we can support our employees to take the next step.
We want to bring all of our employees to the next level. Therefore everybody has a budget for workshops/conferences and education. What our employees have to do for that: Set expectations, track the reality at the place and describe their key learnings. That all of you stay still on track is the name of the game: publish, share, like, post!
